Pokémon Go is a worldwide phenomenon, but it has caused some problems for police in many places around the world. Tokyo is the most recent example of authorities having to take action to stop the chaos caused by the game. A massive crowd of people in Tokyo’s Odaiba district appeared looking for the rare Pokémon. The event reached such a high level of popularity that social media has named it the “Lapras Panic”. It is a shame that the authorities have to become involved in this, but I hope they got their Lapras.

Here is a tweet showing a short video of the event.
